The Analytical Division currently operates at the Panarsuss Campus of the University of California, San Francisco. We have completely equipped, modern facilities and a highly trained staff to provide fully automated analysis for drugs and metabolites in biological fluids.
       More than 20 highly qualified personnel of the Drug Studies Unit, Analytical Division, are Organized by sections. The sections are Research and Development, Support, Method Troubleshooting and Routine Laboratory. Personnel includes permanent staff, postdoctoral scholars and visiting scientists. We have both the necessary expertise for the most challenging method-development projects and the capacity for rapid completion of  high-volume routine assays.

Mass Spectrometries

The DSU is equipped with state of the art analytical equipment which performs
automated sampling, computerized data acquisitions and report preparation. Automated
equipment and computerized data acquisitions systems allow expeditious study
execution. Analytical instrumentation includes 5 LC/MS/MS (1 Sciex API-5000, 2 Sciex API-3000, 1Micromass Quattro, and 1 Micromass Ultima), automated HPLC systems for ultraviolet, fluorescent and electrochemical detection capabilities with electron capture and nitrogen phosphorus detection.
